Pippins Cottage Facilities

Pippins Cottage welcomes friendly dogs and horses and their owners.  Dogs can share the cosy cabin with their human companions while equine guests are stabled immediately next door with their post-and-rail and electric-fenced grazing being just yards from the front door.

Pippins Cottage is petite – small but with everything you need – and is ideal for parties of two (four at a push/short-period!)

You can enjoy a private stay but, generally guests and pupils staying at Pippins Cottage are soon assimilated into the workings of our small yard of event horses.  If exploring the New Forest alone, Ordnance Survey maps and some suggested routes are provided although Anna may be able to accompany you by special arrangement.

Kitchen/living area comprising:
  • Fridge/freezer
  • Kettle
  • Toaster
  • Russell Hobbs Mini Kitchen – electric oven, grill and hob
  • Sink with hot and cold water and drainer
  • Crockery, cutlery and basic kitchen utensils provided
  • 2-seat sofa-bed
  • Terrestrial TV including DVD player

Pippins Cottage Bedroom

Bedroom and en-suite:
  • Double bed with memory foam mattress (linen and towels provided)
  • Side table and lamp
  • Electric power shower
  • Sink and sani-flo powered toilet
The cabin is fitted with a smoke alarm.

There is a car-parking space directly in front of cabin and horseboxes or trailers are able to be discretely parked behind a bank of trees.

Residents may sit out under veranda or on bench beside pond in lower garden.

STRICTLY NO SMOKING is allowed on the premises.

Please be aware that in staying at Pippins Cottage you will be integrated into a small, private yard.  Activities within the yard are kept to incur the minimum of disturbance though many guests enjoy watching this small competition and training enterprise in action and we may have to liaise to allow for parking of visiting pupils or early-morning competition starts.
